Apacheis the well known and probably the most used. It has a lot of included features.
But konfiguration ist is very extensiv.

With OS/2 Server for E-Buissnes comes another server
But is not for free.

WEB/2
is smal, very powerfull and very simple to configure.
Web2 has a integrated FTP server. If you set a directory into the html directory and just make alink to this directory, you get a ftp server. WEB2 has a few built in Tags.

The installation is so simple, that you wonder: Just unzip.

Tip: the Index file should end to htm and html should be set as alias.
The other way hte index file wont be found some times and web/2 sends a directory index.
You probayblyfind in the logfiles, that someone still wants to acess a file /index.html and this is not found. just dont care about. most of this trys are only once. My guess taht this is a try to get a parent directory.
